A Very Special Painting tribute to the work
of the RAF MUSEUM COSFORD went on show in the Main Visitor Centre
About The Painting titled "Heritage
of Cosford's Finest". .
Steve Depicted the Lincoln flying over the
RAF Museum Cosford which can be seen through a break in the cloud
below the graceful and yet powerful aircraft.
The Lincoln Bomber was heavily based on
the Lancaster Bomber made famous by its roll during World War 2 as
the famous aircraft of the "Dam Busters". The Beautiful and rare example
of the Lincoln in the painting is now on display for all to enjoy
at the RAF Museum Cosford, and requires continuous on going maintenance.
It has just undergone another round of preservation to bring it back
to its former Glory.
